This festival mixes music, theatre, film, puppets and dance and took place for the 20th time.The programme was very rich but unfortunately we didn´t manage to see a lot. We had three gigs in Worldmusic, Folk and Jazz night. Then we started to rehearse with a famous Pakistan sufi singer Sain Zahoor who received BBC Worldmusic 2006 award. It was a great experience and we played the song several times.

There were artists from all the world: India, China, Srí Lanka, USA, France, Norway, Turkey...  and a lot of great Pakistani musicians such as an old legend Reshman, demonic Arif Lohar, the best Pakistani drumer Goonga Sain Dhoila who is deaf or members of Ali Khan family.

On Sunday 27.11. we were invited to the first festival presentation ever for Pakistani president Pervaize Musharrafa.

We also did some sightseeing: huge Badshahi mosque, Lahore´s fort with a golden Koran, Indian-Pakistani borders, markets with scarfes, spicies, musical instruments...

It was an amazing experience. Pakistan is a completely different world, different culture. It´s difficult to descriebe it, you just have to experience it!
